A landlord discovered his rental property had been stripped of copper and other fixtures on Monday, according to a Rome police report filed on Tuesday.

According to the report:

The landlord said his new tenant had the power turned on but nothing worked.

An electrician told the landlord that the wiring had been removed and that all the switches that controlled the air conditioner, refrigerator, stove and water heater had also been taken.

The estimated cost of damages was $3,385.
