The cast of Acts of Random Theatre invite Rome residents to come along for a rocky romp down the red carpet when they present “Murder at the Tony (Lou) Awards,” an audience participation murder mystery.

On Friday and Saturday as well as March 20, ART will present the star-studded extravaganza which features all the stars in the theater industry as well as some big names in Hollywood.

The show takes place at 333 on Broad. Audiences can expect fun the minute they walk in. Guests will get the chance to mingle with the cast as they drop hints about themselves and the show and offer an opportunity to ask questions.

The awards take place after dinner.

The Tony (Lou) Awards Show begins with celebrity gossip columnist Constance Gabbles greeting — and insulting — each celebrity as they arrive. The talented host, an heir to a famous dancing, singing and flying family, kicks off the extravaganza and the ceremony is officially underway.

But is there trouble in paradise? Among the stars is a has-been diva, an unintelligible foreign actor, a talent scout, and an action hero wanna-be. Is there a nasty little secret lurking behind all the glitz and glamour? The fact is, everyone has a dirty little secret.

Guests will have to keep their eyes and ears open for clues. Because at the evening’s end, someone will be ruthlessly murdered and it will be up to the guests to figure out who did it.

The show takes place Friday, Saturday and March 20 starting at 7 p.m. at 333 on Broad.

Tickets are $30 and includes dinner and the show. A cash bar is available.

For reservations or additional information, visit 333 on Broad or call ART at 706-346-2743.
