Imagine Hair and Art Studio will host an exhibition by Rome artist Jonathan “Uncle John” Knight through August 30. There will be an opening reception on Saturday starting at 7 p.m.

The exhibit includes more than 50 pieces featuring wood and stone carvings as well as paintings.

A painter and welder by trade, 47-year-old Knight worked with a carver for six years and only recently decided to try his hand at creating his own works of art. He purchased the tools last year and has been creating unique and whimsical pieces ever since.
