“The Camelot Ball II” presented by the SCLC of Rome and Northwest Ga. will be Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Rome Civic Center, 400 Civic Center Drive. The event will pay tribute to the 84th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the second term of President Barack Obama and the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights movement ofRome. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Clyde Hill Sr. of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church inAugusta. The attire is black tie. Tickets are $35 per person and $30 for college students.
