The MLK Community Choir rehearsals will be Thursday and Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church, 935 Spider Webb Drive. All churches in the community are invited to participate by sending choir members to sing. The choir is under the direction of Marvin Williams and John Sewell. The MLK Children’s Choir rehearsals will be Jan. 10 and Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 113 Smith St. The choir will sing for the Family Prayer Breakfast on Jan. 19. The choir is for children ages 5 to 17. All churches are invited to send their children and youth choir members to sing.
