Sheriff Jeff Shaver of Cherokee County, Ala., announced the arrest of three people found with of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Shaver said the agency’s narcotics unit received information that Timothy Michael Hann, 24, of Union Grove — a man wanted out of Marshall County — was staying in the Weiss Lake Motel in Cedar Bluff.

Agents verified the warrants for failing to appear on unlawful manufacturing a controlled substance in the second degree and possession/sale of precursor chemicals and arrested Hann at the hotel.

Shaver said a quantity of meth and several items of drug paraphernalia were found in the room where Hann was staying with three other men.

Charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia also were filed against Hann and Michael Lynn West, 38 of Union Grove, and Christopher Adam Hann, 22, of Hanceville. Agents also learned that West is on parole for manufacturing a controlled substance in the first degree, Shaver said.
