According to Rome police reports:
Officers were summoned to a home around 2 p.m. where the former occupant reported that a 1996 Dodge had been stolen. The theft apparently occurred sometime between last Thursday and Monday afternoon.
The victim told officers that she had moved from the residence Wednesday, but had left the vehicle, which did not run and did not have a tag. The title to the vehicle however, had been left inside the car.
