Since then there has been a string of sex scandals; the dismantling of public libraries, schools and services to the needy; and the lining of pockets with lobbyist money while legislative leaders have putted their way across the most luxurious golf resorts in the state.
These accusations are not based on rumor or innuendo. They are facts that even a casual Google search will authenticate. Our General Assembly has proven to be nothing but a cesspool of sex, power and money.
Meanwhile our unemployment rate is one of the highest in the nation, and we rank near the bottom in every category that judges the quality of life in a state. Keep this in mind when you pull the lever on Nov. 6.
