Man arrested in Calhoun for alleged trademark counterfeiting

A traffic stop in Calhoun led to the arrest of a Snellville man on charges of trademark counterfeiting.

On Nov. 16, 2009, Ling Long Chen, 28, of Snellville was arrested and charged with nine counts of forged or counterfeit trademarks after a traffic stop.

Officers with the Calhoun Police Department Special Operations Division, with the assistance of Immigration Customs Enforcement and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms officers, seized counterfeit goods and tools used in the manufacturing process of counterfeit goods.

The counterfeit items had an estimated street value of $700,000.
