The Times of Gainesville reports that Reginald Coleman pleaded guilty Monday in the shooting death of 42-year-old Richard Schoeck of Snellville. Authorities say he was killed as he waited for his wife at a park in the small town of Lula to exchange gifts.
Also charged in the case is Schoeck's wife, Stacey. Her trial is pending.
Authorities say Coleman was paid $10,000 to kill Richard Schoeck. Earlier, an Austell woman was sentenced to life in prison for her role in the plot.
