Mark Harrison has been named Floyd Auxiliary Coordinator for the department of Volunteer Services.

“Mark brings a background of communications and marketing to the department as well as having been a Floyd employee once before,” says Amy Astin, Director of Volunteer Services.

In this position, he will coordinate the activities and serve as a resource to the Floyd Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteers (formerly known as the Pink Ladies and Red Coat Gentlemen). He will also work to recruit new volunteers from the community.

Harrison most recently worked as Marketing Director of Advance Rehabilitation Physical Therapy. He served before that as a Public Relations Specialist at Floyd Medical Center. He is a Shorter University graduate and is active with the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce.
