The 2009 NAIA Football National Championship, to be played Dec. 19 at Barron Stadium in Rome, will be broadcast live on CBS College Sports Network. Analyst Aaron Taylor and play-by-play commentator Jason Knapp will call the action.

On November 15 the NAIA will announce the 16 teams that will compete in the NAIA Football Championship Series. Teams vying for a spot in the title game will take the field in first round action beginning Nov. 21. Quarterfinals are slated for Nov. 28 and semifinals will be played out on Dec. 5.

Tickets for other championship weekend events also are available. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Champions of Character Breakfast will be Dec. 17, and the NAIA Banquet of Champions will be Dec. 18. Both are at The Forum. Each event’s ticket is $25, and tables for eight cost $200.
