Residents of Webster's Chapel are planning such an event - and it's for a good cause. Townspeople say they hope the upcoming Redneck Christmas Parade helps to bring the community back together after a devastating tornado.
Organizers say the parade is set to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday with an assortment of tractors, trailers, horses, four-wheelers, lawn mowers, vintage cars and floats.
Sonya Burnett, who has lived in Webster's Chapel her entire life, says the parade is open to anything "redneck."
She tells the Gadsden Times that many people think residents are rednecks, so "why not go with it."
