Report: Police find meth residue, needles while serving warrant at Turkey Mountain Road residence

Police charged two men with possession of methamphetamine after they allegedly found residue of the drug as well as needles in a kitchen while serving a warrant, reports stated.

According Floyd County Jail reports :

Officers arrived to arrest Joey Shane Wooten, 42, of 69 Turkey Mountain Road at his residence late Sunday on charges of simple battery, criminal trespass and obstruction of a 911 call from a domestic incident that occurred on Aug. 10.

When police were inside the residence they found Wooten with methamphetamine and needles in the kitchen, as well as Jody Brent Wooten, 39, of 122 Rolling Acres, Centre, Ala.

Both men were charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

They remained in jail on Monday morning.
