“It’s basically the economy, that’s just what it comes down to. We’ve been here spring was ten years,” Graham said. We’re going to relocate the landscaping and lawn maintenance to another location in West Rome.”
Graham said the retail nursery will close at the end of September and that much of the inventory has already been liquidated but that he will be selling whatever merchandise is still available the rest of the his week.
Graham said that he was grateful that the decision to shut the retail operation down will only mean the loss of one job and that will actually involve a retirement. Clyde Davis, who has been with Graham all ten years at the Calhoun Rd. site, in his 70s and will retire and not make the move to the West Rome location.
Graham can still be reached for landscaping and lawn maintenance purposes at 706-295-5055.
