A sign on the front door of the Staples in the MidTown Crossing Shopping Center read that the store is closed "due to a local network issue."

Brad Gaskin, an inventory associate, said the store's computer network is down and is affecting cash registers and printers. He said he doesn't know when the problem will be fixed.
