Low-fat or fat free plain Yogurt: Yogurt is higher in calcium that other dairy products and contains protein and potassium;
Eggs: Full of nutrients, versatile, economical and a great way to pack in the protein. Limit eggs to three or four times a week;
Nuts: They are loaded with heart-healthy fats, high fiber, and antioxidants. Portion control is important.
Kiwis: Full of antioxidants, vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and rich in vitamin A and E; and
Beans: High in insoluble fiber as well as soluble fiber, a good low-fat source of protein, carbohydrates, magnesium and potassium.
