Woman accused of hitting ER nurse

A Rome woman was charged with simple battery after she allegedly hit an emergency room nurse at Redmond Regional Medical Center early Tuesday morning, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Shelley Dylon Lovelace, 34, of 2005 Dean Ave., Room 115, struck the nurse on the arm, leaving “red marks at the strike point.”

She was released from jail Tuesday on a $1,430 bail.
