A Rome woman remained hospitalized at Floyd Medical Center, following a wreck on Shorter Avenue at Redmond Circle.

According to Rome police reports:

Leah Conn, 24, of 116 Benton Drive apparently suffered some sort of seizure, causing her to lose control of her 2000 Ford Explorer around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

She was headed westbound on Shorter Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and slammed into the back of a tractor trailer parked at one of the Sam’s Club loading bays.

Conn’s condition was unknown Sunday.
