Mr. and Mrs. Randell Greeson of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Greeson to Mason Tyler Nelson son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Nelson of Lindale and Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Nelson of Aragon.

Miss Greeson is a 2011 graduate of Model High School and is currently a student at Georgia Northwestern Technical College pursuing a degree in Nursing. She is employed by Duffy’s Deli. The bride elect is the sister of Derek Greeson of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Richards, Marcile Greeson all of Rome and the late Richard Greeson.

Nelson is a 2011 graduate of Pepperell High School. He is currently enlisted in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., where he is studying to be a Patriot Systems Repairer.

The groom elect is the brother of Andy Nelson of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Aaron Nelson of Vicenza, Italy; Logan Nelson of Lindale and Cheyenne Nelson of Aragon. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Nelson of Rome, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Purdy of Summerville and Helen Nelson of Lindale.

The wedding is planned for May 27, 2012 at Barnsley Gardens. Invitations will be sent.
