Allison Joanna Agnew and Preston Russell Harris both of Summerville, announce their engagement to be married.

Ms. Agnew is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Agnew of Rome and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mobbs of Summerville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hinton and Mr. & Mrs. Harley Harris, both of LaFayette.

The bride elect is the sister of Bianca Mobbs of Summerville, Clint Agnew of Summerville, and Matthew Payne of Jacksonville, Ala. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kendrick and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Agnew, all of Summerville.

The bride-elect is employed by Inspiration Point Salon of Rome.

Harris is the brother of Cameron Hinton of LaFayette, and the father of Madison and Kaitlyn Harris of Summerville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Young, William

Hinton, all of LaFayette, and the late Mrs. William Hinton He is employed by Power Plus of Summerville.

The wedding ceremony is planned for Oct. 20, 2012 in Summerville. Invitations will be mailed.
