According to the report:
Police discovered two men allegedly trying to steal the air conditioning units at Holy Sinai Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 1233 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The copper lines to the units were cut, and some copper tubing was cut.
Police arrested Kendall Jerome Moten, of 104 Smith St., and charged him with misdemeanor loitering or prowling, misdemeanor theft by taking, felony criminal damage to property and three counts of misdemeanor obstruction.
Moten was released on bond Tuesday. Police did not catch the second suspect.
