A Pepperell High School football standout has been arrested on felony drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Jarquavious Stamey, 18, of 23 Zona Kay Circle, was arrested early Friday morning on a bench warrant charging him with two counts of felony sale of marijuana, two counts of felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and felony possession of marijuana.

Stamey ran for 148 yards on 20 carries and scored a touchdown during last week’s loss to Cedartown.

He is being held in the Floyd County Jail without bond.
