The bride is the daughter of Rudolph and Estine Uys of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Randy and Nancy Edenfield of Lula, and the grandson of Ernest and Patricia Burch of Rome.
Pastor John Batusic of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church performed the ceremony. Violinists Emese Toth and Anna Patterson, presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride chose her sister, Elzabe Uys, as the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were the groom’s sisters, Emalee and Sara Grace Edenfield, and the bride’s friends, Tiffany Gibbs, Sarah Fell, Ginger Sailors and Katey Kibler.
The bride wore a veil sewed by her mother and carried brooches on her bouquet in memory of her late grandmothers.
The groom chose his father as the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother, Philip Uys, and the groom’s friends Nathan Owens, Josh Preston, Ethan Forney, Troy Collins and Andrew Moon.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Reunion Country Club in Hoschton on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Marietta.
