Warrants: Man stole electricity from residence

A Rome man had warrants served on him Tuesday accusing him of breaking into a residence and using the electricity, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Terry Lynn Allen, 44, of 4316 Old Calhoun Road, is accused of felony burglary and misdemeanor theft of services for an incident that occurred between July 5 and Aug. 5.

Allen, who is currently in the Floyd County Jail on other charges, is accused of entering another dwelling on Old Calhoun Road without authority and using the power at the site with the intent to avoid payment.
