Report: Man attacked woman during argument

Floyd County Police arrested a Rome man after he allegedly threw a bowl at a woman, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Donald Ray Glover, 46, of 104 Holley Road, struck a woman in the face with a bowl during an argument and threatened to shoot her if she called 911.

A 5-year-old child was witness to the incident, and all charges against Glover were made under the Family Violence Act.

Glover was charged with felony terroristic threats and acts, misdemeanor battery, simple assault and third-degree cruelty to children.

He remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
