The 1962 graduating class of Armuchee High School had a 50-year reunion on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. The event took place at Armuchee Elementary School on Martha Berry Highway.

A buffet dinner was prepared and served for the class by Matt Eubanks with assistance from Amanda Key, Kelley Fuller and Tonya Dunnagan. Songs from the late 50s and early 60s filled the air for the evening. Class members brought photos of previous get togethers, old yearbooks and old photos. A TV slide show of class members old-time photos played in the background. Tonya and Kelley also organized drawings and presented door prizes donated by area businesses.
