Miss Orr
Miss Orr is a 2006 graduate of Darlington School. She debuted with the Rome Symphony Orchestra in 2007. Orr graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education in 2010. While at the university, she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She is employed as a teacher with the Richmond County school system in Augusta.
The bride-elect is the sister of William James Orr of WestPoint, N.Y. She is the granddaughter of Arlene Parkman Orr of Atlanta, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Mark Heller and the late James Fredrick Orr.
Hopkins is a 2005 graduate of Stratford Academy in Macon. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He is currently attending Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine in Augusta, where he will graduate in 2013.
The groom-elect is the brother of Paige MacLaurin Hopkins of Athens. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jean Ingram Lucas of St. Simons Island, the late Dr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas Hopkins Sr., and the late Charles Fred Lucas Jr.
A wedding ceremony is planned for April 6, 2013 in Rome. Invitations will be sent.
