A Rome man was arrested Wednesday after he was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Jayquane Marquis Harris, 18, of 109 Malone Drive, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than an ounce and felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Harris was discovered to have a substance that appeared to be marijuana packaged in seven different plastic bags.

He also is wanted on misdemeanor charges of probation violation and failure to appear.

He remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
