During Unity Christian School football games, fans shouldn’t expect a traditional marching band halftime show from the Lions.

Instead, they should prepare themselves for a miniature rock concert.

Band Captain Jake Massingill, a junior at UCS, said he likes that the band is a bit different from what game-goers expect.

“I think it’s very unique,” Massingill said. “It’s very important to be different from what everyone else does. That definitely sets us apart.”
