About 4:45, p.m. the mysterious blue van pulls into our driveway and within seconds, a very loud and powerful knock, knock, knock was heard at our door. My first thought was, what was wrong with our doorbell? Nonetheless, I opened our storm door and noticed a girl in her twenties who began with her sales pitch.
She spoke very quickly and at least twice, I had to ask her to repeat herself. I told her I would give her a very few minutes, and she went to the van and came back with a box. What happened next was totally uncalled for and caught me off guard.
She proceeded to come into our kitchen and sat her little box down then asked to go into the living room. I stopped her and told her, this was not going any further. She became miffed and began to question me why I would not give her a few minutes and wanted to know what I had to do.
She left me with negative feelings because she led me to believe she would show me her product outside, and her overall demeanor and attitude needed an adjustment as the old saying goes.
Shame on me for not being more cautious and shame on her for being rude and misleading.
