Mrs. Allison Paige Cauthen
The bride is the daughter of David and Toni Strawn of Kingston. She is the granddaughter of the late Ira & Margorie Strawn, Carolyn and Jim Johnson of Dodge City, Kan., and Tony and Sandy Ray of Hemphill, Texas.
The groom is the son of Stan and Cathy Cauthen of Armuchee and Dixie Storey of Cedar Bluff, Ala. He is the grandson of Sephord and Shirley Cauthen of Lindale, Jane Carter of Silver Creek and the late Jr. Morris.
The Rev. Joey Motes of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was performed by Chris Wold. Selections included “Waste,” “Marry Me,” “Your Everything,” and “Beautiful Day.”
Katie Hibberts of Rome was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Candice Barnette of Rome, Kristen Scarber of Rome and Desiree Green of San Clemente, Calif. They wore knee length black chiffon dresses each with their own fabric floral details. They wore matching pearl earrings and necklaces, gifts from the bride. They carried bouquets of roses, dahlias, anemones, and baby’s breath.
Annabelle Hibberts, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. She wore a white dress with floral accents to match the bridal party and bride.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, chose a white strapless, sweetheart neckline with ruching design. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of roses and dahlias.
Alex Herald of Atlanta was the best man. Groomsmen were Gary Hibberts of Rome, Tim Selman of Rome, Janus Venter of Kennesaw, and Wes Denmon of Acworth.
Alexander John Herald, of Alpharetta and Haden Morris of Silver Creek, were the ring bearers.
The mother of the bride wore a formal floor-length dress of black chiffon with lace accents, and wore hand-made pearl necklace and earrings. The mother of the groom wore a formal floor-length purple dress with a matching jacket.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Farm. Refreshments included individual cookie cakes as the groom’s cake and a three-tier vanilla buttermilk cake with vanilla bean icing.
The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Mellow Mushroom in Rome.
Other pre-nuptial parties included a wedding shower hosted by Jan Turner and Becky Mayton; and a gift card shower hosted by Katie Hibberts, Cathy Cauthen, and Shirley Cauthen; a bachelorette weekend in Panama City Beach, Fl; a bachelor weekend on Lake Weiss; a lingerie party hosted by Candice Barnette and Kristen Scarber; a bridesmaid lunch hosted by the bride at Harvest Moon Café.
After the honeymoon in Rivera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Kennesaw.
