4 arrested in Calhoun Road disturbance

A late-night altercation involving four Rome men who were allegedly fighting and yelling at each other led to their arrest, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Police were called to 5202 Calhoun Road around 10 p.m. Saturday because of people causing a disturbance outside.

Paul Glenn Stevens, 41, of 45 Bannister Drive, and Edward Walter Proctor, 71, of 5198 Calhoun Road, were both charged with misdemeanor affray.

Christopher Anthony Virta, 18, and Roy Glenn Stevens Jr., 63, both of 5202 Calhoun Road, were charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

All four had bonded out of jail by Sunday afternoon.
