A Bremen woman was taken into custody early Sunday morning after she was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Lisa Ann Rutledge, 50, of 128 Gilreath Trail, Bremen, was found sitting in the driver’s seat of her car while taking up two spots in the parking lot behind 800 N. Fifth Ave.

Police noticed her eyes were bloodshot, her speech was slurred and her pupils were dilated and Rutledge told them she took several different medications.

When officers started to arrest her, she struggled and kicked three officers before she was put into the back of a patrol car.

Rutledge was charged with three counts of felony obstruction of law enforcement officers and misdemeanor driving under the influence. She remained in jail without bond Sunday night.
