Most of the wreaths are up for auction, but some items — including wreaths, tabletop trees and other pieces — are available for immediate purchase. Gore bought a custom holiday piece that can be used on a mantle, tabletop or mailbox.
The wreaths are part of the cancer center’s second annual Masterpiece Christmas Wreath Auction and Fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit organization Cancer Navigators again this year. The cancer center has recruited many of the best and brightest creative minds in our community to design Christmas wreaths.
The wreaths will be on display in the cancer center, 255 W. Fifth St., through Nov. 21. The public is invited to come view the wreaths, participate in the silent auction, and cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award.
The cancer center is hosting a Christmas Wreath Open House this Saturday in conjunction with its Early Bird Cancer Walk from 8 a.m. until noon. People can register for the walk up until 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
