Claybourn Benjamin Milner has been awarded the Eagle Scout badge upon nomination by Troop 61 in Smyrna. He is the great-grandson of the late Ruby Magahee Milner and Clifford Glenn Milner and grandson of Mable Rhinehart Milner and the late Douglas Milner, all of Rome.

Ben’s formal Eagle Court of Honor took place at Milner’s Glenn in Rome. During the ceremony Ben received not only the rank of Eagle but also eight Eagle Palms, earning him the honor of one of the highest ranked Scouts in the Atlanta Area Council. Ben’s Eagle project was modifications and additions to the Silver Comet Trail in Smyrna.

The Court of Honor invocation was performed by Alex Mills of Rome. Mills is the former director of the Boys Club of Rome.
