Former Rome standout Keesha Wise has had plenty of the experience at making clutch shots when she suited up for the Lady Wolves.

Wise once again played the hero, but this time it was for Georgia Northwestern Tech. On Wednesday night, Wise hit a pair of free throws with 4.8 seconds left to give the Lady Bobcats at 77-75 win over Oakwood University.

Wise finished the game with 15 points, five rebound and four steals. Former Pepperell star Kierra Parks scored a team-high 21 points.

GNTC’s (3-3) next game will be on Nov. 27 when the Lady Bobcats host Gadsden State.

The GNTC’s men’s team lost to Crown College 66-49, to fall to 1-4 on the season. The Bobcats will be on the road Monday, as they travel to Sewanee.
