SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — The old race track on Hutchinson Island is set to turn into a holiday wonderland.

The Savannah Morning News reports the Savannah Harbor Festival of Lights will run from Friday and through New Year's Day. It will include 67 large-scale animated light displays around the two-mile track. Visitors can view the lights from their vehicles or can opt for a ride in a trolley or horse-drawn carriage.

After touring the track, visitors can check out other attractions, like live scenes, an exotic animal show and petting zoo, caroling and a bonfire. Treats like s'mores, cookies, hot chocolate and hot ciders will be available for purchase.

The proceeds from the festival are meant to help at-risk and disadvantaged youth and families that are homeless or in need.
