Ms. Shelia Bryant Steele of Summerville and Mr. and Mrs. David and Christine Steele of Gadsden, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany L. Steele, to Bradley F. Tuggle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer and Jan Tuggle of West Jefferson, Ala.

Miss Steele, who currently resides in Adamsville, Ala., is a 2005 honor graduate of Coosa High School and a 2009 graduate of Samford University, Birmingham, Ala., with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She is currently a student at the University of Alabama Birmingham in the Nurse Practitioner Program. She is employed at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala.

The bride elect is the sister of Trina Phillips of Argo, Ala., Kerry Steele of Rockmart, the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Steele of Gadsden, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John K. Bryant.

Tuggle is a 1995 graduate of West Jefferson High School in Quinton, Ala., and a 1999 graduate of Bevill State Community College. He is currently employed by the Town of West Jefferson as Supervisor of the Utilities Department. He also serves as youth pastor of West Jefferson Baptist Church.

The groom elect is the brother of Brent Tuggle of Oak Grove, Ala. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wyley R. Minor and the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Tuggle.

The wedding ceremony will be held at West Jefferson Baptist Church in West Jefferson, Ala., on Dec. 15, 2012 at 3 p.m.

The wedding reception will be held at the West Jefferson Community Center. Formal invitations will be mailed.
