Jami Lea Littlejohn and Scot Preston Poore were married Sept. 22, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Belle Terra in Rome.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Littlejohn of Armuchee. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Poore of Douglasville.

Rev. Bruce Day performed the double-ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was provided by guitarist Tyler Cates and flutist Elizabeth Shore, friends of the bride. Selections included “Be Thou My Vision,” “Flow Gently Sweet Afton,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Ave Maria,” “Wachet Auf ‘Sleepers Awake,” “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” “Claire de Lune” and “Sheep May Safely Graze.”

Ginny Brown of Atlanta was the maid of honor and Rebecca Reid of London, U.K. was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carissa Freeman of Caldwell, N.J., Kristen Leezer of Canton, Lauryn Bellamy of Atlanta, Summer Gernatt of Woodstock, Courtney May of Atlanta, and Stephanie Poore of Atlanta, sister-in-law of the bride. They wore deep teal soft satin knee-length dresses in styles that they each chose. They wore matching earrings made of antiqued silver filigree and crystal pearls, gifts from the bride. They carried bouquets of butter yellow roses, mini green hydrangea, and solidiego tied with burlap ribbon.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a floor-length, strapless trumpet style gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown was done in all ivory lace over oyster dolce satin with a dolce satin sash and court length train. Crystal buttons adorned the back. A beaded white flower headpiece and elbow-length tulle veil completed the ensemble. She carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangea, ivory roses and hypericum tied with ivory ribbon and adorned with pearls.

The brother of the groom, Sean Poore of Buford, was the best man. Groomsmen were Kory Findley of Dacula, Kevin Whitehead of Smyrna, Wes Farnan of Villa Rica, Eric Langhorst of San Diego, Calif., Nick Mann of Woodbridge, Va., Chris Abbott of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and B.J. Littlejohn of Rome, brother-in-law of the groom.

The mother of the bride wore a formal floor-length black skirt paired with a black capped sleeve blouse with beaded accents. The mother of the groom wore a black tea-length dress with tiered layers of chiffon. Both carried handheld bouquets of ivory roses wrapped in ivory ribbon.

Following the outdoor ceremony, a reception was held in the Conservatory at Belle Terra. Refreshments included the bride’s four-tiered cake covered in buttercream icing and the groom’s carrot cake adorned with the Georgia Tech logo.

The evening before the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the Sunflower Room at the Hawthorn Suites in Rome.

Other pre-nuptial parties included: an engagement party given by Ginny Brown, Fran Goscinski, and Jocelyn Mills hosted at the home of Ginny Brown; a wedding shower given by Debra Poore and Glenna Shadix hosted at the home of Debra Poore; a wedding shower given by Cindy Simmonds, Terri Waters, Andrea Littlejohn and Joy Littlejohn hosted in the gazebo at the Renaissance Marquis; a wedding shower given by the ladies of New Armuchee Baptist Church along with Kristen Leezer hosted at New Armuchee Baptist Church; a wedding shower given by Courtney May, Lauryn Bellamy, and Ginny Brown hosted at the home of Ginny Brown; a bachelorette weekend and lingerie shower in New York City; a bachelor weekend in New Orleans, LA; and a bridal luncheon given by Joy Littlejohn at the Harvest Moon Café in Rome.

After a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Buford.
