Deputies in Cherokee County, Ala., arrested two people on drug charges, after getting word that a suspect wanted on 37 grand jury indictments was staying at a local motel.

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver:

Keioga Troy Quarles and Joshua Pettyjohn were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property in the third degree.

Methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and a handgun reported stolen from Piedmont, Ala. were found in the men’s possession.

Quarles is also being held on the 37 grand jury indictments.
