2 charged with drug possession

A Kingston man and woman are both facing drug charges after a domestic argument led police to finding the two with methamphetamine, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Craig Clifford Keever, 27, and Ilayia Dawn Herod, 31, both of 215 Youngs Mill Road, were allegedly arguing with a relative before police responded to the home.

Officers found Keever and Herod smoking methamphetamine from a glass pipe in a bedroom in the residence. Along with the meth was a bag of suspected Schedule II pills, as well as some drug related objects.

Both were charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II drugs and misdemeanors possession of drug related objects and pills not in their original containers.
