Officers arrested a Rome man on theft charges Wednesday after he pawned or sold several stolen items, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

David Martin Willis, 26, of 11 Marble St., was charged with felony theft by taking and two counts of felony theft by deception after he allegedly took items, including tools, firearms and lawn equipment, from a Keown Road residence between June 25 and Nov. 14 and pawned them to different pawn shops around town without the owner’s consent.

The total value of all of the items was more than $1,500. Willis remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
