Mrs. Connie Brock Greenway of Cedartown announces the engagement of her daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Stewart of Rome, to Brett Ryan Smith of Rome. The groom is son of the late Karen House Smith and Wendell Smith, of Rome.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Walter Brock and the late Sarah Greene Brock. She is the sister of Hannah Stewart, all of Rome.

Miss Stewart is a 2007 graduate of Coosa High School. She will graduate Magna Cum Laude in May 2013 from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta fraternity.

Smith is the grandson of the late Charles R. House and Dorothy Drummond House of Rome and the late Sueko Smith. He is the brother of Macie Smith, also of Rome.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Armuchee High School. He attended Jacksonville State University where he graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He is currently enrolled at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he will graduate with his J.D. in May 2014. Smith is a brother of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

The wedding will be held on May 25, 2013 at the Georgian Club in Atlanta. Formal invitations will be sent.
