Mariah Price, Kiarra Parks and Sierra Smith went 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the final two minutes to help the Lady Cats secure the tough road win at four-year program Oakwood University, 80-75.
The win gave the Lady Cats a sweep of the season series against the Lady Ambassadors.
Price led all scorers with 24 points in Georgia Northwestern’s fourth win of the young season.
Lady Cats freshman forward Odessa Person set a record mark for GNTC. The 5-foot-10 Lineville, Ala., native grabbed 21 rebound and scored 12 points.
