Report: Man threatened witness, police

A Rome man was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly threatening violence to a witness and two police officers at his residence, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Richard Wesley Thorne, 43, of 103 S. Elm St. was charged with six counts of felony terroristic threats and acts. He remained in jail Sunday night.
