The site offers youngsters an opportunity to use games with crafts and tools to help them learn how to use money correctly. Children have the chance to examine the anatomy of a check, dissect each detail of a 100-dollar bill, and understand the nuances of debit and credit cards.
Using the Savings Calculator, a kid can put in the amount of their allowance to help them plan how to save up enough money for that special baseball glove or Barbie doll.
While they’re learning principles of fiscal soundness, kids can print out coloring pages, decorate their River City Bank piggy banks, and play online games all related to money.
Much of the website’s artwork was developed by Rome artist Kevin Jones, including an illustration of River City Bank, the Clocktower, and the confluence of the Oostanaula, Etowah and Coosa rivers.
