Signs stolen from subdivision entrance

Rome police were called to the entrance of Berry Forest at Stonebridge Monday morning after it was discovered a pair of bronze plates were stolen, according to police reports.

According to the report:

Someone had pried off the plates from the stone columns on each side of Berry Forest Drive at Stonebridge Drive between 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Each plate had “Berry Forest” on it and was valued at approximately $800.
