Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Allen Day of Fayetteville, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Alexander Day of Fayetteville, N.C., to Stephen Elliott Harrison of Rome. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Harrison of Rome.

Miss Day is a 2007 graduate of Terry Sanford High School and a 2011 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority during her time at Auburn University.

Harrison is a 2006 graduate of Darlington School and a 2010 graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order during his time at Georgia Tech.

The groom-elect is the brother of Mary Kathryn Harrison Pitner of Atlanta. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Parnell of Rome.

The wedding will be held at the Creek Club at I’on in Mount Pleasant, S.C., on February 2, 2013.
