A Calhoun woman remained in jail Wednesday morning after being arrested on drug trafficking charges near the intersection of Hwy. 53 and Autry Road, according to Floyd County Jail records:

Rosa Macias-Aguirre, 42, of 208 Meadow Brook Drive in Calhoun is charged with felony drug trafficking.

Macias-Aguirre was arrested by the Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force.

More information about the arrest was unavailable Wednesday morning.
